Logo, business cards and tags

Retromade is a local business offering it’s clients a range of handmade vintage clothing. Based on retro style and prints, this company reaches out to the niche audiences and offers an excellent service to many of its customers.

The client provided a briefing of colours, shapes, styles and text should be included. Due to this logo being specific, the logo was designed with the client being present to achieve the most accurate outcome.

The advert and business cards were designed to be adaptable to print and were suitable for a range of promotional material. The business cards and tags were designed to a set theme to keep consistency and create brand recognition and association.

The design of the logo adheres to retro fonts, implementing the style of the 1940s and 1950s. With intricate shapes and calm contrasting colors, the logo is unusual yet sophisticated.

The client specifically requested for the logo to be neutral so that it could be used for business cards, social networking banners and as a logo.

The image on the left is an example of one of the adverts created to promote one of the popular items sold by Retromade- The Shirt Dress. As per the client's request, the advert is unusual looking and this has been achieved by using silhouettes of the outfit with the background being textured pattern.

The yellow and green contrast sticks to the Retromade brand colour scheme. The advert was used provide a front image for the following images of the outfits.
